‘其实我像是池塘呢。’

“那我呢？”我问。

‘我知道。’你说，‘鲸鱼因为水量不足而死，池塘则因为被消耗太多而干枯。’
“所以我应该让自己变成大海。”
‘你喜欢变成大海吗？’


“如果你是鲸鱼，我一定得是大海。”我说。
‘如果我是鲸鱼，我会待在池塘，而不是游向大海。’你说。
“为什么？”
‘游向大海会得到自由，离开池塘却会寂寞。’你笑了笑，
‘对我而言，自由随好，但寂寞更糟。’


我们安静了下来，像鲸鱼和池塘。
鲸鱼很努力的待在池塘里而不游动；
池塘则用所有生命的能量供养鲸鱼。


或许此刻我和你的心里都想著，该如何让自己变成大海。
